Playoff games kick off at Wolf Stadium Friday

The new turf at Wolf Stadium has sparked lots of interest in playoff action.

This Friday night at Wolf Stadium, Ralls (4-6) will play Munday (8-2) in a Class A, Division II, Region II matchup.

Next week, Eastland will play the winner of the Alpine-Littlefield game here. The date has not been set, probably a Thursday or Friday game.

Also, Bronte will play Hamlin next week if the Pied Pipers defeat Electra.

With the expanded playoff system, it’s very difficult to get a field and several teams have called about using Wolf Stadium.

The three games listed above are expected to bring in over 7,000 football fans.
