Lartge group eats pancakes
The 38th Annual Kiwanis Club Pancake Supper was held Friday night with great success. Tables were full of hungry folks enjoying pancakes, bacon, sausage, as well as coffee and tea at the Colorado Middle School Cafeteria.
According to Kiwanis Club member Amanda Jo Ritchey, over 220 people were served at the annual fundraiser. Proceeds from the supper help support youth-oriented programs such as the annual Kiwaniannes Christmas toy drive, the teacher appreciation luncheon, as well as Run for the Wall, among others.
In just over two hours, over 60 pounds of bacon and 15 pounds of sausage were served.
