Motorcycle Fun Run planned

The Christian Motorcyclist Association is planning to honor a couple of former members in a way that will be fun for area motorcycle enthusiasts.

The Bell Fun Run, in memory of Jenie and Danny Bell, is planned for March 24th, allowing plenty of time for those wanting to participate to make plans. The event will begin at the Exxon station on the corner of Hickory and the north service road of I-20 and end in Ruddick Park.

The first bikes will leave the station at 10 a.m., with the last pulling out at 10:30 a.m. The band, Joyful Noise, will be performing in Ruddick Park to welcome the riders as they arrive in the park.

The $20 entry fee includes lunch, and all proceeds will go to the Wings of Grace chapter of the Christian Motorcyclist Association.
