Election deadlines listed for cities, schools

The time is fast approaching for those wishing to stake their claim for a position on a city council or school board. The filing period this year will run from Feb. 4 through March 5. For school board and city elections, since Feb. 4 is a Saturday, the first day candidates can actually file will be the following Monday, Feb. 6. The actual election will be held May 12.

Below is a list of positions available in Mitchell County:

Colorado City Council
