Hats off to a fun time

Our Mad Hatter Tea Party was delightful and the Alice in Wonderland movie was the finishing touch. Hats and costumes transformed the participants into wonderful, whimsical characters. It was a special opportunity for mother-daughter, grandmom-granddaugher or friend-bonding in a delightful way.

The décor and food was outstanding and we had a special treat from our glamorous models. Kelly Marshall, Rachel Beckmeyer, Tara Higgins, Laura Warren, Mikaela Madrid and Lauran Meeks were stunning in the latest fashions from Eclectiques and the Dragonfly.  The clothing and accessory items could be for any occasion and some would be great graduation gifts. A special thank you to these stores and the models for the time and effort put into the event.

Main Street is also sponsoring a seminar featuring Russ Altman from the Texas Tech Small Business Development Center in Abilene. The seminar will be Thursday, April 29 at 5 p.m. in the Civic Center and will feature the topic of Using Social Media for Your Business.  If you want to learn how to use Facebook, Twitter and other forms of communication to promote your business or just for personal use as well, make plans to attend.
