The Wolves were unable to find a hit in Game 1 on Friday and Saturday was not much better, but Derek Gainey did find a way to register the team’s only hit in the series, a scorcher in the third inning.
Jason Rodriquez faced an onslaught of Bushland hitters Saturday as they scored 15 runs on 17 hits in the five inning span of the game.

Morris who hit a school record 6 home runs, including one in the area round against Miles and had a .723 batting average. Lady Wolves advance, still winning
The Colorado City Lady Wolves are advancing to the Regional Semifinals this week to take on a surprise opponent. Hawley defeated Wall in a three-game shocker to earn a spot across from the Lady Wolves this coming weekend.
The Lady Wolves, fresh off of an 11-1 Game 1 victory over Coahoma in the Regional Quarterfinals, continued to do as they pleased on the diamond Saturday, defeating Coahoma again, this time to the tune of 8-3.
