Bulldogs lasso Longhorns
Loraine Bulldogs travelled to Loop Friday night to face the Longhorns. Windy conditions and a threat of rain didn’t stop faithful Lorainians from traveling the 100 plus miles to support their fighting Dogs, and Loraine came out on top, beating Loop 42-36.
The Longhorns scored the only touchdown of the 1st quarter, with 7:29 to go. A touchdown pass and a good PAT put Loop on the board first, 0-8.
Bulldogs maintain winning streak
The Loraine Bulldogs met up with the Patton Spring Rangers in Afton, Texas Friday for a pigskin battle that would give Loraine its 6th win of the season. The Bulldogs whipped the Rangers 60-13 to stay undefeated.

On the next Bulldog possession, Brandon Gibson had his turn in the end zone bringing the score to 12-0. Damian Garcia’s extra point kick was good, lighting up the scoreboard 14-0.
